How long do the pickles stay fresh?
Unopened, every jar stays perfect for 6 months from the batch date printed on the lid — the oil and salt cure preserves it naturally. After opening, refrigerate and it easily lasts 2–3 months. Honestly, no jar has ever survived that long.
No preservatives — how is that possible?
The traditional way: generous cold-pressed sesame oil, rock salt and slow frying remove the moisture that spoils food. It's how coastal Andhra families have preserved meat and seafood for generations — long before refrigerators existed.
How spicy are they, really?
Every product shows a chilli heat level from 1 to 3. Level 2 is authentic Andhra home spice — properly hot. Level 3 (our "Extra Hot" jars) is for seasoned spice lovers. If you'd like a milder custom batch for kids or elders, ask us on WhatsApp — we make it for bulk orders.
How should I store and serve them?
Keep the jar in a cool, dry place away from sunlight; refrigerate after opening. Always use a dry spoon — moisture is the only enemy. Best served with hot rice and a spoon of ghee, curd rice, dosa, chapati or simply on toast if nobody's watching.
Do you deliver to my city?
We ship anywhere in India — metros in 3–5 days, most of the country within a week. Full timelines are on the Shipping & Returns page. Orders above ₹1200 ship free.
I live in Markapur — can I pick up from the store?
Yes! For orders below 1kg, local customers take away directly from our store in Markapur — fresh off the batch, no shipping wait. Find the exact location in the Visit Store section, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll keep your jars packed and ready.
Do you ship outside India?
Not directly yet — but many customers order to a family address in India and forward via courier consolidators. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you pack for international transit (vacuum-sealed, airline-safe).
How do I pay? Is Cash on Delivery available?
We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), bank transfer and all major cards via payment link. COD is available on select pin codes for orders under ₹1500 — confirm yours on WhatsApp when ordering.
What if my jar arrives damaged or leaked?
Send photos on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery and we replace it free with the next batch — no questions asked. Details on the Shipping & Returns page.
Can I order more than 1kg, or for a wedding or event?
Absolutely. Bulk orders from 2kg to 25kg get special pricing and combined shipping, and we build custom gift hampers from 10 to 500 boxes — see Gifting or message us for a quote.
What exactly goes into a jar?
Fresh meat or seafood, cold-pressed sesame/groundnut oil, Guntur red chillies, rock salt, garlic, and whole spices stone-ground the same morning. Nothing else — no preservatives, colours or taste enhancers. Allergy note: seafood jars contain shellfish/fish; all jars are prepared in a kitchen that handles them.
